Forget swine flu: The University of Florida (UF) is ready in case its employees become flesh-eating zombies.

The six page report goes on to discuss anticipated outcomes of a hypothetical zombie attack, stating that all UF staff should be equipped with devices such as blackout curtains, chainsaws, firearms, and other weaponry.

UF officials had the plan removed . Will they be sorry?

Random facts;

There was some academic study using zombie outbreaks in fiction as classic examples of true viral/contagion outbreaks and infections in the US. They basically used zombie outbreak examples from fiction to mathematically plot out how contagions could and would spread throughout the US.

Also, Florida is where the latest "Marvel Zombies" comics started.
I'm not sure US concerns were specifically addressed, it was a Ottawa study.

Looks like it is time to prepare your zombie plan. I remember hearing about a group of people who practice actual zombie preparation drills.
