Just what the title says, what movie weapon do you think is awesome. what makes it so great? what are it's strengths and weaknesses?. Your choice can include "direct" or "in-direct" weapons.

For me, I have always liked Deckard's gun from Bladerunner. A short to medium range hand gun that fires some type of explosive ammunition, specifically designed to kill a physically superior enemy in one or two shots. Kind of like an elephant gun but smaller.

I like how possessing this powerful weapon doesn't give Deckard a clear advantage against the replicants, but instead makes him more their equal. And when he loses it or the ability to fire it effectively, it creates a nice tension for everything that happens afterward.

Hmmm...seems like there are a few more bolts or whatever on this then the pic above...which is the original?

Either way, ME WANT!

The one in the original post was a 'work in progress' picture by Adam Savage (Mythbusters) and is lacking a few features. You can read about the build here.

The photo I attached is the original prop with some missing/replaced knobs and screws because, you know, it's been stored away for 25 odd years and who knows what it went through.

I think I know where this was used O_0, I guess weapon of opportunity makes it versatile. And you could spray the contents to use as a secondary function, I've seen that done before.

Irreversible, right?

I think it can help you in any situation.

Tom Hanks would totally agree with you.

Scrump you beat me to it!!

This movie weapon not only killed countless characters but it actually destroyed 3 entire movies and the integrity of a once awesome series.

I think I win...

I can beat it. A weapon so nasty and prevalent that it attacks ant and all forms of fiction, in an effort to drain them slowly of funds and their life essence. It targets without mercy, do not let up EVER, and nearly always wins.

Hmm good choices, but NONE can compare to this one:

This guy can take your favorite game and turn it into a weapon of fear and nightmares. All of his video games adaptations, from House Of The Dead to In The Name Of The King 2, will scar you, no matter how hard you try to forget about it. If you have a better director or actor that can be a weapon of armageddon, post it.

10 dollars Mason Daniel will reply.
