While generally recommended and an obvious point, people don't always feel inclined to throw $20 down the drain just to confirm that a movie is indeed bad.
That's why I'm paying to see Star Trek again and sneaking into T4.
Saw it. Starts off pretty good, then the actors start trying to act. Then you realize that the robots with advanced targeting systems can't hit anyone that is a main character (or otherwise, honestly). Then you realize that Christian Bale isn't interested in playing a character different from his Batman and 3:10 to Yuma character. Then you realize that human flesh is more impermeable than metal and can withstand getting knocked into steel walls hard enough to bend them. Then the credits roll, and you realize that the movie was some bullshit because you could easily list off enough complaints and plotholes to match the number of names that rolled down the screen.
Intense action, but very forced and convenient action. Works as a brainless summer film, but it's not good in any way, shape, or form. I'm tired of people willing to just sit back and enjoy the explosions. We've already seen that before and it's boring now.
