Actually, I think they draw the line at 60% for fresh/rotten or maybe 65%, I'm too lazy to look it up.

If you know how to think with your own head, why would you give two shits about some rating on RottenTomatoes.
It's especially funny to read comments on those negative reviews, there you can see actually how stupid and retarded some people are.

For me it could go either way, I liked the first two movies, third was just OK. Trailers for Terminator Salvation looked amazing (but you can't judge the movie by it's trailer), and well it has Christian Bale (yeah he was in some shitty movies but he always gives his best performance in each movie). On the other side I'm not sure of how competent is McG as director for Terminator movie, but we will see.

Way Too early to tell if Terminator Salvation will be good. Plus I'm not really a big fan of Rotten Tomatoes. In my opinion there are too many film snobs on that site.

I heard there still great bad ass action sequences
Great visual effects and audio effects
Sam Worington and Chekov acted well

Only main problem is that story is a bit lame, and Bale overacts
(Seeing Bale in those clips reminds Batman without the rasp, Keaneu Reeves, Clint Eastwood, and Scarface. Bale chew the scenery so much, always acting like one-note overtop angry badass, which I kind like, its a fun preformance like ARHALD

But lets face it T2 is still highest point sci-fi action, people should see this new movie on its own.

you're probably right. but like...i mean this movie is just supposed to be a war between man and machines. I know the story already. i don't need deep character development, i really feel as though we already got that in the last 3 movies. It's all been building up to this. They need crazy crazy battles. Chrome-plated apocalyptic doom with red eyes. That's it. That's all I need from this, really. I don't want some bullshit stupid love story forced in there or something like that.

I'll never be able to take this stance on any film. Interesting characters and a good story should never be sacrificed on the basis that previous films did it for them. Those two things make a film great. Why would you settle for lifeless eye candy when you could have an action film full of energy because you actually feel scared for the people in danger?

You all know good and well that an action movie without interesting characters or storytelling is going to be lifeless. Everyone always says "I just want teh splosions!" Then it actually comes out and everyone's complaining about the wasted potential.
