It seems to me that the critics who disliked the film are all complaining about how the "machines take center stage," so to speak.

How odd. A movie about killer machines, that focuses on... killer machines...

People keep trying to review this movie as a "film" instead of what it really is, a fun summer flick. I'm not looking for the greatest acting or storytelling here, just give me some humans fighting Terminators and I'll be happy.

Why anyone thought this would be as cerebral as the first two and not just a balls-to-the-wall action flick is beyond me. The Variety reviews seems to get it.

So should we be making our prejudgement based on the reviewer who raved about Hannah Montana in a previous write-up? Maybe it's the critic who backed Next Day Air, Obsessed, and Alien Tresspass with fresh ratings? Some of the other reviewers seem to have been expecting some form of "high art". I guess they know a lot more than those of us who merely ecpect a fun winter sci fi action flick.

Hey brad, here's what you "Think so far". You think that you've been a complete twat for coming onto Spill.com and telling us what the brain-dead drones over at Rotten Tomatoes think about a movie that isn't in theaters yet. I guess you are the same type of person that goes to ESPN and tells then what the people over at Sports Illustrated are saying, or the person that runs up to the Democrat and talks about what the Republican said, or the Catholic that runs up to the Baptist to tell them what the Mormon said.

Because telling us what the people over at Rotten Tomatoes think about a movie is just as good as turning left during a drag-race. While possible to do, you should expect to get torn apart.

Rotten Tomatoes itself doesn't say anything. Those "brain dead drones" are a compilation of what movie critics think. You know, brain dead drones like the ones who run this site.

With the exception of the fact that RT's "Brain Dead Drones" are able to have their reviews and "Freshness ratings" CHANGED by the users, where our "Brain Dead Drones" on Spill.com have NO WAY of changing their rating after being posted?

Sorry Meddle, but trying to claim ANYTHING that is on Rotten Tomatoes "Freshness Rating" as a way to gauge a movie is silly at best, moronic at worst. Why would anyone care about a rating system that is CHANGEABLE both prior to, and after the release of a movie? Just the simple fact that 14% after seven reviews shows how bad that method of 'review' is. It's not an indication at all of a movie's quality of film, it's simply the mathematical figures rounded to the nearest whole number of 7 reviews out of 100. If all seven people were going on about how great the movie was, the VISUAL indication is still 14%. If all seven were saying that it was a horrible film, that crapped on the history of the franchise, the VISUAL indication is still 14%.

Percentages are NOT the best method to determine if something is good or not, when dealing with opinions that may (or may not) influence people spending money on something.
