I don't care if this is in the wrong place. I wanna discuss it.
I really hope there is no correlation between what was in the newest trailer and what's in the first. I hope the line "There's a storm Coming," is not featured in the movie, but was just some heavily edited version of Hagrid saying it in Harry Potter made to sound like Anne Hathaway. And I think I can do without the batcopter.
I have faith in Nolan, but there were a lot of things trying about this trailer. The dialogue probably fits the movie, but in the trailer it just seems stupid. This almost seems like a trailer for an oscar bait film.
On the flip side though, I think they cleaned up the bat voice.

I liked it. It's been a while since I gave a shit about the upcoming Batman movie, and this new trailer was exactly what I needed to get me excited again.

One thing that caught me off guard was how quick it got on to the internet. I thought it was going to be posted sometime after The Avengers premiered.
In any case, the trailer is very impressive from what I saw. While Bane's voice wasn't that bad for me, the redo on his voice here is much better than what we saw in December. Still trying to figure out what that accent is though. :/

I've just realized what bothered me so much about the trailer. If you didn't look at what was going on, it sounded like some kind of oscar bait boxing movie.

How is the Riddler a better villain than Bane? Have you ever read a Batman comic? The Riddler never does anything cool (except in Hush, maybe), he's like a Sudoku that Batman occasionally solves when he doesn't have any real criminals to contend with.

But has there ever been an iteration of The Riddler where he was a really good, competent villain compared to the rest of Batman's rogues gallery? I'm just having a hard time seeing the Riddler working as the main villain in anything.

The Riddler works well in the animated series because he's good for killing 20 minutes (as I said, he serves as a semi-threatening puzzle for Batman to solve), but he's not strong enough to carry an entire film.

Not that I necessarily agree with Young Freezy, but I think that the way the Riddler was done in Arkham City would make a pretty good main villain.
