Im really excited for ths film and im sure it deffintly has a chance of winning best picture at the oscars. I like Jessie Eisenberg and for some reason, something about this role fits him. I also like the tone of the film as it seems its going to be pretty realistic. I've talked to a few people that have seen an Advanced Screening of the film and have said it is great so i really hope the film lives up to what people saying about it.

Your thoughts?

Not sure how this is gonna turn out, I really haven't been following any of the press on this film. They've certainly made good films out of stranger and smaller things, Pirates of the Carribean being the obvious example. I liked Jesse Eisenberg in Zombieland, so I'll probably check this out. Plus, even if the movie sucks, it should at least sound great since they've got Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross to do the score.
when i first heard of this i thought.... what the hell, a movie about the creation of facebook, and then the teaser trailer came out and i was like what the hell, now its trying to be so overly epic, but now a trailer has explained the story it looks oscar award winning talent
The only thing that has me interested is David Fincher, other then that the premise, actors and trailer have not made me see any reason why this is already being called a possible Oscar contender.
I have high hopes for this, not only it's David Fincher, but the writer is Aaron Sorkin who is best known for creating and writing The west wing, which I found to be really interesting show, particularly since I have no interest in politics whatsoever, but he managed to make the subject matter shine with very fast paced and engaging conversation along with deep and atypical characters.

Then again a movie is rarely the sum of it's parts, so great director, writer and lead can turn into a pile of shit, but I'm still hopeful.
whoa, whoa, best picture at the oscars? i wont make any judgements regarding awards untill i see it. so far though, judging from the previews, it looks interesting, but maybe it was just the radiohead song in the trailer that won me over. i'm still optimistic though.
I don't really have a whole lot of interest in this movie. Maybe it's because i got tired of the whole social network thing when i deleted my myspace like 4 years ago.Maybe it will be good, but it looked kind of cheesy to me
Now I'm excited:

What's even more impressive is the average rating: 9.8
A most movies don't stay at 100% after 21 reviews
Up to 35 reviews still 100%, 9.4 average rating.

I just can't buy the premise, because a movie about Facebook sounds so incredibly lame, I mean it's just a goddamn social network like Twitter, My Space or MSN Messenger, why not make movies about those instead or maybe about Spill, com that would be much more interesting...
Sure, I like Fincher but the concept has to be somewhat interesting to me.
it's a little over praised, but it has been a really dry year for movies and Jesse Eisenberg is Michael Cera v2. Also Timberlake is pretty awesome as the Napster guy haha
