Charlie Kaufman, one of my favorite directors working today, he of Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Synecdoche, New York, is coming out with a new film in 2013. Not much info on it right now, but there's a pretty big cast being assembled, and it seems some of them could be redeeming their careers with this movie. I couldn't be more excited.

Here's the information as of now: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1798634/

Extremely excited. The guy hasn't had a bad film yet. for me anyways. Plus, Kaufman and Nicholas Cage coming together again? I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Bit of a fanboy for ol' Kaufman so I'm far from the most objective. However, I am worried about it being a musical but I trust him enough to know what he's doing. Hopefully. Time will tell and all that shit.

Agreed.

I know he only directed one movie, but he wrote all the films I mentioned. He is undeniably talented, and I've loved all his films. Have you seen he other films he only wrote?

Sounds really funny.

How does that one-sentence plot description on IMDB sound funny? I know it's billed as a comedy, and I have faith in Kaufman he will make it funny and intelligent, but that one sentence didn't really give off any comedic tendencies.... Okay, it said it was a satire, but it didn't go into detail at all.

It doesn't really matter anyway; Hector will be drooling in confusion once he's done watching it.

That is, if he's done putting it off after watching all the movies that aren't worth a shit and are way outside his age group...

No I wont.

What makes it funny is the fact that the plot is about a movie director feuding with a blogger.

So a director fighting with a blogger right off the bat sounds funny...? Am I missing something here?
