Braveheart definitely. That was more a Mel Gibson flick since he both starred and directed and seemed to attempt historical accuracy. I recommend Apocalypse even though its a little out there so beware!
I meant that Braveheart is more historically accurate than The Patriot, that's all. I'd say at least check out Kill Bill Vol. 2 because there's much more substance to it and some damn good acting in it.
Tough choice. They've both only helmed one great film, as far as I'm concerned.
However, I'm giving the slight edge to Cuaron due to Children Of Men
possessing a tad more rewatchability than City of God.
