Now now, I'm not trying to attract all the losers who whine in the comments of the reviews about how much the Spill Crew have "sold out" on their honest opinion of a film, I'm merely pointing out something that has been on my mind lately:

We good people on here love the hell out of our five favorite film critics on the web, but come on, think about it -- isn't there a time once in a while where one of the guys says something about a movie or anything in general that irks you to no end? Sure, everyone's tastes are different, but there's got to be at least one little thing that you and either one of the Spill Crew disagree on so much that it sticks out to you in your mind for the rest of whatever podcast you're listening to, whether it'd be an opinion on the film they're reviewing or something about a film that they bring up during ACOCO or LDT. Even tough we deal with it in real life with those close to us, we're talking about the motherfucking Spill Crew -- our film critique idols. So, naturally, we think of what they say seriously, taking what they say on something we don't agree with and state that we simply don't agree with what they say. The same can be said for anyone on this site in the comments, but still --  it's the motherfucking Spill Crew.

So, what are those little things that they say that you strongly disagree with?

Mine are coming soon.

Going to sum mine up with one simple word: Politics.

Outside of that one issue, I can't really think of anything. Even when political talk happens, I don't disagree with all of it. Just every now and then, something is said that I have to "let slide".
It would be totally absurd to put them on a pedestal where you think every word that comes out of their mouths is right, and probably impossible since its a group of people who sometimes disagree with one another (you can't agree with all of them all the time, right?), so of course I have disagreed with them on some stuff. Could be something little, like I don't think Hot Fuzz is as funny or awesome as they seem to, or it could be something like some of their take on dating.

But for the most part, I do agree with a lot of what they say about movies. Every time Korey rages about Freidberg and Seltzer though, I rage with him. If I could afford it, I'd love to be the one to slap those dicks and collect the bounty.
Korey said in an ACOCO that he thought Orgazmo was hilarious. I remember being hyped up about seeing it since I usually agree with Korey on his comedic taste. I hated Orgazmo and had to stop half-way through.

It also irks me a bit that he thinks MP's Holy Grail is better than Life of Brian but I can understand why.
You're not a mayn, a mayn mayn mayn YOU'RE NO MAAAAYYYYEEENNAHHH!!!
I tried to do some hard thinking to remember all my disagreements with the Spill guys, but I could only come up with these three. I'm sure I'll remember some more later.

The "I know now why you cry" scene in Terminator 2 being stupid (Cyrus)
The Lion King being communist (Carlyle)
No Country for Old Men's ending being terrible (Everyone - especially Carlyle)
How not using porn means a guy is going to be a douchebag to a woman (Cyrus)
The Star Wars prequels being unfathomably terrible films (Everyone... ugh)
I agree with you on all except the last, though sometimes they (meaning everyone) do treat with the prequels a bit too much disdain, like George Lucas committed genocide or something.

I disagree with them on Tarantino, with most of them not liking his latest films. I thought Inglorious Basterds was a bit disjointed and should have focused a bit more on the Basterds, but I still really liked it. Plus I really liked Death Proof and the Kill Bills.

Sometimes they talk about "unrealistic dialogue" in situations where I don't agree with them, for example in the case of Tarantino's work. Films often focus on character's who you wouldn't meet on a day-to-day basis, otherwise dialogue- and character-driven works would be boring.

Also I like Tim Burton, and most of the Spill crew don't really seem to.
i also agree with you on everything and partially the last one, since i think the only unfathomly terrible one was the second one.
I think Cyrus meant, people who don't masturbate, not people who don't watch porn. I can totally see how he got there, because people weren't meant to not masturbate or at least not have sex.
If I remember correctly, he first accused it of being capitalistic, but then he realized how retarded he sounded.

And in the end... he still sounded like a retard.

I believe you were supposed to respond to Cthulhu's comment, but I apologize for misintepreting his claim of Carlyle being the one accusing The Lion King of being capitalistic. My memory of his rant is a little foggy as well.

But still, it's a retarded rant by someone who reads way too much into harmless animated films.

Korey: You have made the Lion King into a communist propaganda.

Carlyle: Capitalist propaganda.

I rest my case.
