Well, past few months Bioware has said that they will be making a new Mass Effect game and that the game won't be featuring Shepard (I don't have the article on hand from me) as the main character; they even went as far as trying to get fan's suggestions and feedback not too long ago.

Even if you're still bitter and angry about the ending of Mass Effect 3 and how Bioware handled it, what do you wish they would do with the story of the next Mass Effect game? Besides having a satisfying and decently written conclusion, that's a given. What are your ideas?

I have a feeling they won't pick a set canon ending because then you'd start a virtual debate on why one of the 4 endings was superior and how dare Bioware decided to go with that option than their preferred version. If they did, I just see more grievances being aired than reduced. Retcon...I'm not sure how I feel about that.

And if this new DLC is going to be something along these lines, I wonder how much a reception it'd get and what the sales figures would be for it since Mass Effect 3 is going to be a year old in a few months and right in the middle of what's reported to be a very busy videogame year.

Me personally, I'm for the idea that Nick Hodges on The Loading Bar and what Chris suggested, have the new Mass Effect be like the Age of Exploration with exploring new systems and planets but have the same political intrigue, in depth science fiction aesthetic, and inter-species conflict as the previous games.

Hope they let it die.

What is your problem? We get it. You don't like the Mass Effect franchise. That's fine, but there are a lot of people that do and we like to talk about it.

The OP asked a question, and Iron Man answered it.

Did he tell anyone to shut up, or post a bunch of unrelated responses or talk shit to or about anyone posting their ideas?

So... what's your problem?

How about the Human/Turian war?

This actually sounds kind of nice.

Wasn't impressed by the demo of Mass Effect 3, seemed very restrictive, the game appeared to be going the route of a shooter and I've got plenty of them that do a better job in the first place. I may give it another chance, perhaps it opens up but judging by Mass Effect 2 not by much, also with all the DLC i've heard how much will it cost me to play everything in Mass Effect 3?

I'd shit my britches if they did a KOTOR 3, I don't buy the whole (The Old Republic MMO) had morecontent than KOTOR 3/4/5 would have, even if that is the case they could still come up with a new story and the game just felt a lot more impersonal and mindless compared to the KOTOR games, not to mention it was restricted by MMO level design/combat which is mostly terrible.

Either that or make a Mass Effect game closer to ME1 than 2/3, sure keep the framerate and better controls but expand on combat tactics/abilities that force the player to strategise their own abilities and squad instead of the typical (fill em with lead and go for the headshot). I mean look at the promise of ME1
