The state of Pushing Daisies
Canceled? Not canceled? Potential Comic-Book / Movie negotiations?
I've heard so much yet know so little. Does anyone know FOR SURE, 100% positive what is going on with this show? I heard that they got canceled on Episode 13 of Season 2, which is a cliffhanger apparently. But what's gonna happen? Will it be released on dvd and have the other episodes as a bonus?
I hate the thought that the only show I've ever latched onto is going to just disappear.
What are you thoughts, and if you have any info, share it!

It would suck that the show gets off the air, it's so unique and quirky, and it would be a third strike for the creator, along with "Dead like Me" and "Wonderfalls". What I liked about "Pushing Daisies" it was it's general weirdness -I know that's not a word- and the endearing characters, honestly, there wasn't a single charcater that I didn't like. I would prefer the show kept going, but if it was in fact axed, I hope they find a way to keep it going, either with a TV movie or comics.

Fuller (the creator) is going back to work on Heros now that pushing daisies was cancelled. He plans to finish this seasons arc in comic book form. A movie is a possibility, though it may just be direct-to-video. Dead Like Me, another show of his that was cancelled, just had a DTV movie released, so there's still hope.
