the new dr who series
Just watched eps 1and 2 of the new DR WHO and its great,the one show we watch as a family, i have been watching since i was a kid (im 47 born the year dr who started) and loved the show but fell away in the 80s when it was probably at its weakest, but since the reboot in 2005 its been amazing the doctors have been great,Matt Smith has been brilliant as the doctor since taking over from David Tennant, the story with the doctors death and River Song and River being Amy Ponds daughter! Aw the fun of having a tardis.so who's your fav doctor who villain? The Cybermen used to have me hiding behind the sofa when i was a kid

This is the first time I'm actually watching Doctor Who. I knew about it when Eccleston and Tenant were the Doctors, but I never watched more than 10 minutes altogether...it never interested me at the time. But I got hooked from the Astronaut episode with Matt Smith, and haven't stopped watching. The one with River being Amy's daughter was the 5th episode I watched. And how I regret not watching the series when they started it all those years ago back in 2005.

otherwise my favourite villain was Roger Delgado (THE Master), Zygons close second.

Roger Delgado was indeed the man, we need a new Master of this calibre again.
Zygons? Really? Not bad but barely memorable for me, nothing about them to make them stand out.
I dodn't think Let's Kill Hitler was that bad, at least the plot made some sense (always a bonus) and some of the dialogue was good. Yes, the ending was cheesy, predictable and not particularly believable.

Yeah the master was great and the astronaut story is cool , River song can regenerate so im enjoying that plot line,as in all shows there will be weaker episodes but as a fan its good that there's something on tv we can watch as a family,Wonder when the Daleks will be back or Davros not seen him for a while. John Simm as the master was cool as well but Rodger Delgado will always be THE Master.
