But then we'd have our on idiot biased tweens from the site voting for The Dark Knight as the best picture over movies like Frost/Nixon. They'd just be OUR biased tweens.

i agree with you but i never watch MTV. I watched cz someone posted Eminem getting Teabagged on my page so I wanted to see it and when i saw Twilight won everything and that Jim Carrey beat James Franco I said...THIS IS BULLSHIT!

On a side note. WOW! MTV doesn't know what a recession is. Can't wait for them to go bankrupt!

You all are being so hard on Mtv, Its so innovative, without them we might of never had great award shows like spikes video game awards.

In all honesty though MTV is the kryptonite(sp?) to children's intelligence. The only channel thats worse than mtv is vh1.

I really don't undderstand why people take the MTV movie awards seriously. Of course Twilight was going to win. It's a popularity contest based on what's "hip" with the tweens. It has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the films.
