Two Academy Awards is better than Eight MTV Awards....or whatever amount of awards Twilight won. I don't know.

I don't watch MTV. These don't count IMO. Besides, don't let the opinions of tweens and the MTV channel get you all riled up. Dark Knight, Iron Man, and Slumdog were all better than Twilight.

In the beginning, it was a good show, the right movies won, now that just give it to the teenage loving movie of the month. And for Jim Carrey to win every time he is nominated, is bull crap

I'm with Choker on this, the target audience for this are teenagers, who one day will look back at this and will be ashamed of their stupidity.

The MTV Movie Awards It's not even a legitimate award show, it's a big, loud and flashy 2 hours ad.

Hey, you can't bitch people. It seems that TDK was clearly not the best movie made. Since after all, the Oscars and 13yr olds said so.

Let's be honest Silver, any time you place an "award" of any type in the hands of pre-puberty Teens, you'll always have shitty results.

My thoughts exactly. I mean look at the nominees for Best Picture: TDK, Iron Man, HSM 3, Slumdog Millionaire, and...Twilight. Now, look at that list... Twilight was considered BETTER than Slumdog which won the BEST PICTURE OSCAR!

I hate teenagers and their generally horrible taste in film.

I went over to MTV.com a couple of times and I read some of the comments by girls who loved Twilight. One said that the acting in Twilight was better than Slumdog Millionaire.
