The Longest Reply Ever to Kent...

First time starting a discussion, but this seems necessary. For starters, this is aimed for Kent.

Kent, since you closed the last discussion we were in, I figure this should be continued ...since you left your last words and left no oppurtunity for a difference of opinion.

Since this is a public forum I will update anybody who cares on what has been said so far.....

My starting point takes place right after Kent has called another member an ignorant bastard because he said he was going to get stoned before he sees transformers 2...I will put my lettering in italics and Kent's in bold for your viewing pleasure.

First of all I don't have a problem with anything you do because you're a nobody and you're from socal. I live in SF so I won't be anywhere near you. Thanks for perpetuating the stereotype that pot smokers are annoying douche bags.

Secondly do you really think I'll be there opening night? I'm a paid film critic. I get free tickets for press screenings dude. I'll have more than likely seen it twice before opening night. So you enjoy standing in line and paying for your tickets like a sad lowly fan... I'll have my review up long before that.

Oh and 3rd, I would love that. I really would. Because I'd pull out my flip camera, film you and put it on the internet making you an instantly hated douche bag...

If people weren't interested in my reviews, then people wouldn't hit my blog the way they do... they wouldn't send me Emails asking how to be a better critic, they wouldn't ask me how I started and what it takes to do it professionally... certain people that you respect wouldn't have offered to pay me for my work...

I want to approach this in a somewhat diginfied matter, since your a professional and all. I can't help but wonder if you really think just because I'm new here that I automatically go for the "fat" remark. True, it was a low blow and I don't tend to rip on a person's appearance...BUT...if the person is flaunting themselves and posting pictures all over the internet then they are fair game for criticism, opinions and mockery.

Facts are only what you believe to know is true. Please refrain from ever telling me who you are writing for... I'd like to maintain a level of respect with this mystery person. Even though Korey posted your blog (or whatever it was) on the front page it could still mean that he could potentially be doing this because he's a nice guy and feels sorry for you. I could be wrong about this, and him really being your legitimate friend, which I hope is true for your sake.

I think you brag about everything, not just your camera...and if not wanting to spend 200 bucks on a camera makes my life poorer quality in your book, then so be it. I know if I was the supreme dork I wouldn't waste my money on cameras to take pictures of myself showing the world how narcissistically lame I was.
At least AVGN is actually funny at times. I'd prolly use the extra cash I dont spend on letting the whole world know how cool I am and rather on spend it on some "higher quality" porn to try fill the lonliness that resonates deep inside of me.
