Don't underestimate the size or content of this thread. It did what it was supposed to. It got people talking, voicing opinions and sharing points of view. Just because some, myself included, don’t fully agree with you it doesn’t make it any less relevant to those who took the time to post. If left long enough, I believe most thread is going to drift into circular debates, pointless posts, and the like.

I'm scanning through and still "tripping" off of the stupid and idiotic statements like "Inuits can't have blue eyes in a fantasy world" or "There is no Asia in fantasyland!" or "You're just mad just to be mad."

I can't support this film, as Hollywood seems to be as stupid as the people who posted these stupid statements.

Okay, here's the deal: this movie is dead from the get-go because it's done all wrong. Personally I watched Avatar from the first episode then after a while it just grew tiring and didnt really feel it was all that. Having said that I don't believe this movie would do bad or come out bad if it was in cartoon.
--This has been happening too much lately and for no logical reason; people have been looking at cartoons and wanting them to be real-for it to become live action when the whole point was to separate from reality and just enjoy the artistic capabilities that there are to offer. -I honestly have so much to say about this, but i won't, instead I' ll just move on to Shyamishlong.
---Now M. Night released two films which were easily forgettable and all around not that good; Praying with Anger and Wide Awake. I didn't see these movies but my brother and cousin saw it and...blah blah blah. Then he made the Sixth Sense which without a doubt landmarked M. night and launch his career to the point where he had the opportunity to release unbreakable and signs before he started sloping. What's unique in theses films is that they blend character studies with mystery and a sense of displacement and is done with masterful form and symbolism.========The same director wants to direct an adaptation of a cartoon.


It simply doesn't fit, what this is. is hollywood going stupid. Someone should get fired for allowing this and a rehab clinic should be opened to help directors and actors who've gone stupid find their way back into the creative roll call.




But fuck it, I work at the movies so i get to see this shit for free.
