Permalink Reply by Stephen Quentin Easton on January 26, 2012 at 4:12pm Is the link not working? Or are you wanting me to write you an essay explaining it?
Permalink Reply by NeonKazma on January 26, 2012 at 4:16pm I read it, but seriously the message pop'ed out of nowhere and left me confused.
Permalink Reply by Stephen Quentin Easton on January 26, 2012 at 4:25pm I'm sorry, I don't know what message you're talking about or anything about it's contents.
Can you see the link I posted? If so, I'd be happy to answer specific questions about it.
Wait, perhaps 'The Keiser Report' videos are suppressed in the USA. Is that the case? If so your news is already being censored.
Permalink Reply by NeonKazma on January 26, 2012 at 4:31pm This is the message i'm talking about: similar to this one. This message pop'ed in every email account, including mine's and it's the same as the one you found right now.
Permalink Reply by Stephen Quentin Easton on January 26, 2012 at 4:45pm This is one of the topics of the video link I posted. What Mr Dodd is saying to politicians is support SOPA/PIPA or we'll stop giving you our Hollywood funded bribes.

Permalink Reply by Stephen Quentin Easton on January 26, 2012 at 7:20pm The groups potentially interested in news censorship are various corporations and corrupt elements in government. The reason so many of us are reaching this conclusion is that major media outlets now appear to be criminally misleading on matters like the cause behind the current recession and the inevitable (and fairly imminent) second crash, and it's intentional rather than incompetance. Censor the Internet and the spread of this information beyond word of mouth will cease.
A classic current example is all major America media outlets are currently trying to pretend Ron Paul doesn't exist in order to sabotage his candidacy for the Republican nomination.

Permalink Reply by Stephen Quentin Easton on January 27, 2012 at 8:11am That's happening to a certain extent already. Viral messaging, protests from Tech companies such as Wikipedia and Google, forums like this one, word of mouth and news services such as "The Keiser Report" all do their bit to help. Also despite being primarily a comedy program "The Daily Show" is also good although understandly they shy away from the darkest issues such as the truth behind the current global ecomonic meltdown.
There's also a battle almost like a civil war going on in California right now between the Tech companies and Hollywood over SOPA/PIPA. Hollywood will probably lose but may harm civil liberties on the way down.
