Just a general discussion of the movie, with spoilers and all. Just to start it off, what were your guys' favorite moments?

Mine is, without a doubt, when Batman has Bane pretty much beat and he tells him "When I have the trigger, then you have MY permission to die."

Also, if this discusion is happening elsewhere, feel free to re-direct me to wherever that may be.

True but I'll take it nonetheless!

Ras's idea that Gotham would serve as an example for the rest of the world, like the fall of Rome and Constantinople. They were broadcasting to the world what humanity could be, and then they would destroy it, ushering in a new age of humanity.

As for Gotham being peaceful, it's because it had essentially become a police state, and also, like imaginary Liam Nieson said, "You're one victory was based on a lie."

They should have reminded us what Ras's plan from the first movie was, because without it seems like deformed guy trying to impress a girl he's into. But I think that both Talia and Bane believed in their causes, despite their more emotional motivations. But they should have both lived to witness their defeat.

People forget that Ra's plan wasn't just to destroy Gotham. Hence the fear gas that he was planning to have pumped throughout the city. He wanted Gotham to destroy itself.

That's why Bane and Talia didn't just set the bomb off. They told the world that the detonator was in the hands of a citizen, and that if anyone tried to leave it would blow up. Complete lie but the point was it would look like the people were the cause of their own destruction.

Are i the only one who is disappoint that alfred did not do a shit in the end?

No. I am also disappoint, son. Are i think you speak differented? Maaayyybbbeeee.....

I enjoyed very little of the film, really only the fight sequences!

I didn't really like the first half at all, but I agree with everything else you said!
