The Complete Peanuts collection

We all know the "in" and "hip" comics that are today featured by both Marvel and DC like Batman, Spider-man, The Hulk and their creators and several writers & artists; Allan Moore, Stan Lee, Bob Kane, Frank Miller, Brian Bolland the list goes on and on...
But as of yet i have not seen a man who had a greater impact on comics then Charles M. Schulz, the creator of Peanuts (better known to some as simply Snoopy/Charile Brown.).
Charles Monroe Schulz was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grew up in Saint Paul. He was the only child of Carl Schulz, who was German, and Dena Halverson, who was Norwegian.
Much early on he loved to draw, often drawing he's family dog Sparky (witch was the inspiration for Snoop). He was mostly shy and timid even as a teenager.
In the year 1950 he started work on Peanuts at the age of 28, till he's death in 2000 at the age of 77.
He left behind a legacy of iconic comic book characters like Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, to Linus, Peppermint Patty, and the rest of the crew.
And this collection is an homage to this legacy and the years of work he put in to it.

The collection it self is divided in to 10 volumes each one containing over 100 pages of Schulz's work ranging from the year 1950-1970. You can buy 1 volume at a time or in a lovely box set each containing 2 volumes.

I my self have almost the total collection missing only 3 volumes witch i read often, and it never gets old. Its a perfect read if your feeling depressed, it often helps me out of a dreary mood. Of all the characters i would have to say my favorite and the one witch i can relate to the most is Linus because like him im not like the rest . Thought i don't carry a blanket around (hides he's blanket).

So I highly recommend it. Schulz's unique writing and characters make it the best reading experience a comic can offer.
