Born in Santa Monica CA, Sean Justin Penn has without doubt proven himself to be an outstanding actor, director & humanitarian. After his film debut in 'T.A.P.S' (1981), Sean became largely popularized as the stoner/surfer-dude Jeff Spicoli in Amy Heckerling's 1982 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'. With growing success, Sean moved on to more serious roles in films such as: At Close Range (1986: along-side Christopher Walken), Colors (1988: along-side Robert Duvall) & State of Grace (1990: along-side Gary Oldman). In 1995 Sean was nominated for the first time for an Oscar in the Tim Robbins directed film...'Dead Man Walking', but it was not until 2003 that he recieved his first leading role Oscar win for his portrayal of grieving father James Markum in Clint Eastwood's...'Mystic River' and his second as Harvey Milk in 2008 for the film 'Milk'

You didn't like Mystic River? :O

No, I don't like the font.

I was thinking of this one.  I might have grown up  a Sean Penn fan if I hadn't had such a big crush on Madonna back in '86.  As a pre-pubescent little pup I was so jealous of him that I wished he would die so that Madonna would be driving by alone in her limousine and pick me up and I'd get to do all those creative little things with her that a young boy's mind can come up with.

You suck, Sean Penn.

I find his politics asinine, but he is a great actor. My two favorites are Colors, and Mystic River.
