'Kathryn Ann Bigelow' may be one of Hollywood's picky directors, but she sure has what it takes to be walking with the giants. Making her directorial debut in 1982, Kathryn is best known for her films such as: 'Near Dark'(1987), 'Blue Steel'(1989), 'Point Break'(1991), and her most recent, 'The Hurt Locker'(2008) which crowned her the first female director to ever win an Acadamy Award. She was also the wife of blockbuster director...'James Cameron', who was in the same category as her for best director (which she won). Cameron was also an exec-producer on Kathryn's film 'Point Break'.
