The Best films of 2011
I finally caught up with almost every reviewer including the Spill crew and this is my fifteen favorite films of 2011 (Note: This list is not what I liked best because some of these movies are flawed, but are based on the qualities I enjoy and find remarkable and entrancing. Keep in mind I actually haven't seen the following movies:

Well, the list is kind of late, but great list nonetheless. Congrats for it. Although I am too lazy to make an exact list I will just throw in some names that I consider to be my favourite for the year that just passed:

It was probably late because most of these films were either released at a different time or I couldn't bother to drive 60 miles away to a cinema that was only showing these movies

Only time I drove over 60 miles out to see a movie last year was to catch the limited release of The Tree of Life.

out of curiosity what did you like about the tree of life cos personally I really don't like that film (i'm genuinely asking out of curiosity not to be a troll) like some people hate waking life in the same way but i love that film

The performances deeply resonated with me on a personal level, particularly Chastain, Pitt, and McCracken. Also, the long stretches of creation (and destruction) were amazing enough to make me rewind them multiple times. This scene gives me goosebumps:
