It looks like the Beatles music is so powerful after about 50 years that it can shut up a bigot

That didn't appear to shut up anyone.

It was just one group of idiots out-yelling another group of idiots thanks to sound editing.

Why can't you look at the bright side of this?

He went there to try to make a statement and stir up trouble (like most extremists do), which was bigoted and the crowd basically called out on his BS and ruined his day (and rightfully so, then again I'm a Muslim so)

They gave him attention. That made his day.

The bright side of what? They didn't make a single point.
Not a single one of them says anything to refute Jones' ramblings, aside from a single woman dumbly proclaiming "Nuh uh!"
They just sang some obnoxious old song at someone who couldn't have given a shit less.

How did they ruin his day? He didn't shut up, and he didn't leave.
In fact it looked like a lot of those obnoxious singers were leaving while Terry Jones hung around and kept doing what he was doing.
Are you under the impression that Jones is unfamiliar with a cliché lyric from one of the most famous bands in the world?
Do you really think they made him stop in his tracks and rethink his life?

Jones is clearly a man with a need for attention and a persecution complex. All these idiots did was give him exactly what he wanted by giving him the time of day to begin with.
Then some group of morons decided it would be best to upload this shit to YouTube, further expanding Jones' exposure of himself to the world.

This is little more than an example of some obnoxious cunts attempting the exact same thing they get angry at Bill O'Reilly for whenever he pulls it on his show.
The one who yells loudest is the most correct...

Pat yourselves on the back, everybody. Once again you've accomplished absolutely nothing.

''All you need is love''

Says the crowd and man that's trying to passive-aggressively shut up another person by out-yelling him. The unknown stupid fucks heroes save the day once more through their combined powers of self-jerking.

I love how glasses had to look up the lyrics and improvise a melody for them before the hook. That's the perennial power of the Beatles.

It was either that or Yellow Submarine.

I would have preferred something like this.

This would have been more to my liking...

I'm extremely disappointed that the video above is of the lame Terry Jones instead of the awesome one.

The only way to stop a person like Jones, is ignore him. It's like he's a poltergeist, the more you scream in fear the more he realizes that he is affecting you.

Jones did make some valid points though. I mean can anyone argue against the idea that Islam is a religion of oppression when when the word Muslim literally means "One who submits". I wont even comment on their history of human rights, but it is sad to see how stupid his opposition was. I mean no one there knew anything about Islam, so why were they disagreeing with him?

Christianity is also a religion of submission to its One True God and has a history of human rights violations. The two religions aren't so different. Takes some balls to openly agree with Terry Jones though.
