If it's crap... We'll tell you

Since cinema is very much oriented on entertainment, only a few movies can really take out those defenses of ours and blow us away. Sometimes, the movie is so powerful that we stay there until the end of the credits wondering if there is something better than this in an emotional matter or, for some cases, fear itself.

What special movie just blew you away leaving you with a feeling that it will scar you forever?

In my case, Memento was this movie that just surprised me so bad that I had to listen to it again the next day to fully understand all the genius of the screenplay :P

I'm sure I could take the time to come up with something wonderful, that every one can point at, and say, yeah, that was really powerful, but who am I kidding? The question was, what blew "ME" away, so I'll just be truthful.

Please understand, this is not a recommendation. Do not watch unless you have seen the entire series.

A great psycological thriller, that speaks a certain amount of truth but shrouded by violence. Like Memento you only fully appreciate it on 2nd viewing. Oh, and in all senses of the phrase, its kinda messed up, but in a good way

I have to agree on this one, took me several viewings to really love all of its messed up, chaotic mood, as well as its social symbolism...

For me it was Brazil (the uncut version).

For years, I've been trying to wrap my head around this movie. There is a new Directors final cut of the movie. I'm hoping it will make more sense, or at least feel like less random stuff thrown on film. I've seen it a bunch of times, and it still gives me the WTF feeling afterwords.
