superpowers...
im sure you all have had this conversation before.. but what super power would you choose if you could only choose 1.... and remeber to talk about the way youd use it, how it would affect those around you, and why you choose it. keep in mind that the rest of the world is a factor IE how the military hounds the hulk, or how destrution to property leads to law suits, or how the media will view you ( like the spill community for instance).

The ability to have the see ahead in time like in next. 3-5 min would be enough. Gaambling , parley bets in sports. hand to handcombat, super assasin,Jeapordy. deal or no deal. i wouldnt need to be mega rich. just the hitting on women part would be reason enough.

Honestly I would go with simple controlable super senses.
Like having super hearing that I can control it's intensity by concentrating on it... that way i wouldnt go deaf on accident
increasable hearing
sight smell touch.
eather that or a power called Allowmancy from the Mistborn book series by Brandon Sanderson

Anywho, I'll give my two cents.
Invulnerablility and phasing through shit.
Let me explain:
I read a short story where a mafia boss discovers the cure for death.
Fatal Injury? A short period of unconsciousness, but he's ready to go a couple minutes later.
However, he's attacked by a rival gang, is shot through the skull.
He wakes up in a trunk lined with lead. He's thrown into the ocean, and promptly goes insane.
I ain't spending an eternity at the bottom of the ocean, I'm phasing through that trunk.

I'd choose between....
The Healing Factor - Like Wolverine or Deadpool - It would be fun to know you can't die, to walk city streets knowing that if you get mugged your not going to die.
Kinetic Charging - Like Gambit - It would come in handy to beat someone up.
Slow or Stop Time - Just imagine all the fun stop you could do, it better the invisibility because you could do ridiculous shit in seconds and nobody would even know because you moved while they were frozen.
Influence probability of surviving projectiles - Much like Domino - Someone fires a gun, all you have to do is move anyway you want at any rate you want and your guaranteed to dodge it.

Invisibility. I hate to admit it, but my family could sure use some money, and I don't see us winning the lotto.
edit: Or maybe the ability to influence people. That could work just as well.
