I always hear people say hip hop is just about bitches, money, and drugs. But if you just went beyond what the radio is giving you for hip hop, you could look into the hip hop culture, deeper and see that it actually has some of the most meaningfull and deep songs there is!

@GamingKing,

Soulja Boy hasn't been relevant since 2008 soooooo and even the bad Hip Hop songs doesn't give anyone the right to hate on the whole genre. Every genre has shitty artists...

Rap hasn't declined and it's actually better than ever, musically. Right now Hip Hop is the only genre in the Mainstream that's taking chances and not being afraid to get a little experimental which is more than I can say for other genres in the Mainstream.

Sidenote: Alot of rappers in the Mainstream having been bring their A-game lyrically as of 2010(Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, Drake).

and to anyone saying Hip Hop fell off well let's list all the good Hip Hop albums from last year.

Raekwon, Method Man & Ghostface Killah- Wu-Massacre

Drake- Thank Me Later

Freeway & Jake One- The Stimulus Package

Murs & 9th Wonder- Fornever

Nas & Damian Marley- Distant Relatives

Reflection Eternal- Revolutions Per Minute

The Roots- How I Got Over

Big Boi- Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty

Capone-N-Noreaga- The War Report 2

Curren$y- Pilot Talk

Rick Ross- Teflon Don

Fat Joe- The Darkside Vol. 1

Bun B- Trill O.G.

Ski Beatz- 24 Hour Karate School

Termanology & Statik Selektah - 1982

Kid Cudi- Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager

Kanye West- My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Curren$y- Pilot Talk II

Ghostface Killah- Apollo Kids

SWAG!

SWAG?

Never was much of a Gilby Clark fan so I'm not sure why you keep mentioning this album.
