They have announced today that the Starwars  movies will be getting a 3D Conversion for theaters. The first one will be The Phantom Menace and that will be do out for 2012. Now I for one do not like the "Special Edition" remakes of the original Starwars movies nor did I remotely like the prequels.I thought that they had finished fucking up a classic but sadly I was wrong. This is as big of an example of profiteering as Avatar going back into theaters with an extra 9 minutes. I for one think George Lucas is full of shit he has yet again failed to leave well enough alone. Now I feel that some movies could have benefit from being in 3D at the time but none should ever be converted over just because it's creator fails to come up with any new ideas other than how to brutally ass fuck one of his most well known and loved properties. Now some may say it is not that bad of an idea but honestly if they can't make a conversion of a new movie look good what makes one think that they can make one from a movies that are 11 to 33 years old. James Cameron is also full of shit being that he too will be offering a 3D conversion of one of his biggest movies and its one of the movies I loath the most. TITANIC.
