Permalink Reply by Stephen Quentin Easton on March 12, 2011 at 11:28pm I grew up with Star Trek:TOS, so I still like the better episodes from that.
ST:DS9 is comfortably my favourite.
ST:Voyager I hate for many reasons, but rather than go over them here check out SFDEBRIS. While I hate Janeway even more than Neelix, there's very little this man says I disagree with. His review videos are excellent.
Permalink Reply by Gift of the Magi on March 14, 2011 at 7:56am Any plans for a new series is pretty much on hold. Thanks to Nemesis and Enterprise, the studios did not feel comfortable in doing any new shows...but the recent Star Trek film HAS renewed interest in the franchise at least. The problem with THAT is, the interest is in TOS series and not something new.
Currently Star Trek Online is covering the storyline 30 years ahead of Nemesis, and with CBS Studios not only in control of the franchise but giving STO the go-ahead to write the timeline I don't see any new 'future' shows on the horizon.

Permalink Reply by Dialtribe on December 27, 2012 at 9:03am Love Star Trek. DS9 is probably my favorite, probably due to its similarities with Babylon 5 which I also love. I respect the original series but it is probably my least favorite due to how dated it is. Not bad, just dated. That being stated, Enterprise is probably the most flawed and bad. It had some good ideas and the concept was solid, but it was horribly executed.
I would much prefer to see a new series rather than these movies. Star Trek made some great films, but I would rather watch individual episodes than a film. I also don't really want to go back to Kirk and Spock because we have seen that before. I want something new.
Also, SF Debris is AWESOME!
