I don't know about Electro. He's just there throwing lightning bolts around and I don't think we can have a dynamic kick-ass fight scene with him. Anyway, that's just me.

I heard he was back. He said they will be shooting some footage in Michigan, his home state.
I also heard Tobey, Kirsten and J.K. Simmons were back too.

Hopefully this one will be good, I personally thought Spider-man 3 was pretty mediocre, and just plain stupid- unlike 1 and 2

But tolerable, because I'm a Spider-Man fan... I hope this one is good, but I don't know many series that do well after #3 that are not books

There is no way the director would EVER make a Carnage movie(he doesn't even like Venom, so he must hate the crappier version of him), so every single one of those are definitely fake.

If he's been given the ability to do he wants to do, there's a good chance of it being a good movie. But if it involves any sort of alien symbiote it will almost definitely be crap.

I heard that in the contract he signed regarding the next movie, part of the conditions was no symbiotes.
