If it's crap... We'll tell you
So last night I watched the Prisoner remake
Well, the first two episodes. The cool thing is AMC isn't even a channel I had until recently where they are doing a free preview til the end of December.
Oh and I was watching the original back in the day on Sundays with my father, when I was a little kid, just to give away my age.
Anyway, I liked the remake, or I shoudl say I'm liking the remake, even with Jesus & Magneto battling the wits. I must say I'm surprised about how the show opened, but at the end of the 1st episode I was compelled to watch the second.
Thats it, I recommend it, it's trippy and partially confusing in places, but I think it adds to the weirdness of the tone of the show

I don't really have the money to watch the original series, but I bought the first episode, and liked what I saw. That being said, this series is a bit different. It's a lot less direct, and like you said, trippy as hell.
I was loving it, untill the end of the second episode. I don't know what happened there.
