SIR PATRICK MOORE DIED AGED 89. R.I.P. A TRUE BRITISH ICON

Today is truely a sad day, the loss of Sir Patrick Moore is devastating news.
Presenting 'The Sky at Night' for over 50 years (the longest running host of the same show in history) and also 'Gamesmaster' proving his eccentric ways.
He was involved in Lunar Mapping before the NASA Apollo missions and in 1959, the Russians used his charts to correlate the first Lunik 3 pictures of the far side of the Moon.
Rest in Peace Sir Patrick, you will be sorely missed but always remembered fondly.

gutted fan I heard about this, legend.
I also feel that some people owe me money in regards to a 'Who will die next?' competition that was on the go when I used to cut up dead pigs for a living. I had Patrick, the only others I remember in the pot were Micheal J Fox, Eddie Murphy and the Queen. Pretty sure I won, I will begin tracking down all those five pound notes with haste!

The best that bbc 3 can throw together is to get that fucktard COCKney to go looking for aliens. the sooner they cut funding to that cunting channel and give it to BBC 4 the better IMO
