Ummm, I think Joe Johnston (upcoming "Captain America" movie) *Director of "Jurassic Park 3", "October Sky", "The Rocketeer"* is reviving "The Wolfman" with Benecio Del Toro, Hugo Weaving, & Anthony Hopkins coming Feb, 2010

No, I mean like...well we all know the wolfman! How he looks n everything. I mean something fresh like a new type of story that involves werewolves kinda like underworld even though I think those movies are boring.Twilight is a guilty pleasure for me to watch, but they totally killed every aspect about them especially with vampires.

I saw The Wolfman at an advance screening and it's not spectacular. I mean it's a fun flick, but it isn't good enough to bring the werewolf back into the spotlight.

I think the transitions for werewolves showed be slow and painful and the werewolves should be a mixture mechanical effects and photorealistic CGI. If somebody can make that happen and also have a great story thats fresh and doesn't have all those cliches like the silver bullets being the only thing to kill a werewolf then I would give it a chance but this will probably never happen.

Yes man, I has that in mind a long time ago. Especially about the silver bullet. Werewolves didnt die because of a silver bullet. Thats not even in the werewolf lore, hollywood made that part up.

Vampires, yes their done to to death, but that doesn't mean they can't still make good vamp films, last year we got Let the Right One In, it came out of nowhere and was a nice counter to Twilight.

Werewolves are not so done to death, I cant think of a lot of true classic Werewolf movies, Wolfman, The Howling, An American Werewolf in London and that's it, so if you think you can make or write a great werewolf movie fucking go for it man! (or woman)

yeah, let the right one in was great! Have you seen Ginger Snaps? I think that and An American Werewolf n London are great. Yeah dude, I took a screenwriting class but I failed because he have to follow the format.But I became cool with my professor who's an actual screenwriter. I can write a story, I just dont like the format of a screenplay with putting interior n exterior all that format crap! I wont tell the story but its about teen adults, n I want to make it a depressing type of werewolf figure. After all there cursed, no one wants to become a werewolf. Its gonna be great though, I just hope this gets picked up by the studios

Yeah, I've seen Ginger Snaps, I liked 3 best, 2 was just the first Ginger Snaps with the other sister. If you don't enjoy the script format, have you thought about writing it as a book or getting your friend the professor to put it into that kind of a format.but like I said if you think you got a good idea, run with it.

Yes, were working together...he's doing the screenplay n Im writing the story...I mean I really do hope this goes very well, its coming along good...Ill probably post on my pics, some concept art of the werewolves, theres only 2 of them. Im an illustrator so its all good on that. I just want some input from of course people that like werewolves so I can feed off some ideas to enhance mine.
