lol hipster mentality.

In all seriousness, I think we've all been here. There's that point in which that one show that everyone is watching and raving about as being so great you find isn't even as good as everyone says it is. Or that you just think it flat-out sucks. At the moment:

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Sorry I'm just unable to understand why the entire internet thinks this is the god tier of animation. It's not that well animated, I really don't like the style. The writing is good, but it's nothing new for a kid's show to have actually intelligent writing behind it. I just... don't get it. This is the show that broke /b/. That 4chan had to set up rules because of people flooding the boards with posts on the show. THIS was it. I mean again, it's an okay show but... holy crap, it isn't the greatest thing in the history of the world like everyone is making it out to be. :/

How about you guys?

Tim and Eric Awesome Show is complete and utter shit.  It's not funny, it's not clever and I hold it on the same level most of the intelligent public holds Family Guy.  I silently lose metric fucktons of respect for anyone who says that they like that show.
I feel the same way with their two shows (Tom and Awesome Show) in general. Their brand of comedy is just to weird and unappealing; I have no interest in watching.

Doctor Who.

It seems so banal. I don't get why people love it so much.

Jersey Shore

All the Kardasians’ shows

Celebrity Rehab

All the “Real” Housewives

The Bachelor

Every reality show that has attractive spiteful people, really; they need to stop trying to make shows that supposedly are real.  I got into an argument with my sister about the realistic authenticity of Jersey Shore, and she told me that it was real to her.  Someone needs to line up every reality star single file, and execute them one by one.

I used to like Bleach alot, but currently I just gotten bored of them dragging whatever storyline or plot that got. It seem like it ran for too long.

Also, Mad Men & Workaholics. I never got into Mad Men & Workaholics looks very uninteresting. It's basically the same shtick I see in most frat-boy comedy movies but they done it better.

Plus, every teen soap drama on ABC Family & crime procedural on CBS (except Person of Interest).

As a Old Who fan, I'm slowly starting to HATE New Who.

MLP:FiM is appealing because it's incredible flash animation, the lack of hate while not having a hippie mentality, and it's fun to twist unintentional moments in the show for memes and internet pictures. It's fluent and well crafted characters combined with awesome facial expressions is amazing. It deserves respect for it's animation alone, but it's characters exceed even that.

Also, it makes you better in games. Seriously, my skill in Bad Company 2 went off the roof after I started watching that show.

The Walking Dead. The first episode had me wondering what the fuss was all about, and the second episode was so retarded I couldn't bring myself to watch anymore. I'm flabbergasted that fans of the comics aren't up in arms over that show.
American Horror Story, I saw the promos and the first episode, it was like they took every horror cliche and wrapped it in this absurd piece of crap.  They used music that was from memorable moments in films, such as the whistle from Kill Bill, and the violin from Psycho.  The characters are beyond stupid and unbelievable, along with the most horrible dialogue I've ever heard on television.
I made it through the second episode, but I'm otherwise completely with you. There is not a single character I remotely care about and the horror elements are either cliche or random to the point of silliness (lol gimp suit).
Beavis and Butthead.  I'm not against crude humor at all, as long as its funny. Then again it did take me awhile to get into South Park so maybe there's hope.
