I am having a hard time getting excited for Avengers. Maybe because I'm a pessimist and I don't think an ensemble movie like this can work, or maybe because I'm not nerd enough to trust Joss Whedon with movie directing yet. Should I just get blasted on the before going to see this movie? Will it make it more exciting?

I think you should get drunk, not blasted but drunk to the point where you're feeling good. The thing is if the story is disappointing you won't notice as much and be able to roll with the flow of the action scenes.

If you like getting drunk. I don't know.
