I rarely get angry over losses or decisions in sports, but this was the first one in a LONG time that got me fuming. I don't see how even the Machida fanboys could think he earned a UNANIMOUS DECISION. He only showed true aggression towards the end of the 3rd and for most of the fight, Shogun dominated him.

I was really close to paying money for the PPV, but ended up going to a local Buffalo Wild Wings instead. I'm glad I did, because I would have flipped had I paid $50 to see that.

ya my brother is pissed that he payed. I'm actually pissed he payed because now he is vowing to never pay for another ufc. Machida really pissed me off too. He is supposed to be this respectable classy guy, yet he says nothing about the atrocious decision.

it was a disappointing fight...

Shogun didn't have a championship fight, but he did beat Machida...

I'm of the opinion that Championship fights should go as many rounds as it takes because round ten would have been exciting as hell... Shogun got robbed but they are gonna have a rematch no question so its not that big of a deal.

I wasn't impressed with either Shogun or Machida, but I was extremely impressed with Velasquez v. Rothwell. Absolute domination. It was a beautiful thing. I hadn't bought into Velasquez's hype machine until last night, seems like hes the real deal. Also, good win for Pat Barry and Rumble destroyed Yoshida....hopefully next time he can come in on weight.

I'm of the belief that a lot of ufc rules need to be revamped. For one, I think the weigh in should be like the day before the fight. I don't really agree with people in the 185 weight class weighing 200+ pounds before the fight. Shouldn't that default them into the 205 weight class?

Also, the scoring has got to be changed. As it is now apparently you have to KO or submit the champ to get the win. Shogun completely outclassed machida in every aspect yet he walks away in disappointment only because machida had a title. In my opinion if you are the champ, you should act like the champ and take it to people, not narrowly escape through blind judges.
