I'm going to lay out most of the probelms that I had with this movie(Contains Spoilers)


1. The Concept & Story & My Opinion

Now this story would be fine if they did it right. But they don't do it right.The first film, I actecpted the way they introduced the transformers. While I liked it, it still had it's probelms. Most of it acting and character develpoment and some action scenes. Micheal Bay decided to COMPLETELY ignore all of the probelms that were in the first movie and made it even worse then that movie. Don't give me the excuse,"ohh it's a micheal bay film!!!" or "It's an action movie,it's not suppose to have a story"

Do you really expect a deep,moving,Character study? If you do,.....then your retarted.

You have no right to say were retards for wanting a story and moving characters. It's the whole point of a fucking movie. Any kind of movie, action or drama. You HAVE to have a story. People weren't just asking for more robots or explosions, they wanted it to be better then the first one. Not everything can be mindless popcorn fun. And FYI not alot of people like the movie. In fact, most people hated. I can't blame people, and myself, for hating this movie because this plot and this movie makes no sense. They start off with a story but then they completely drop it. Right off the bat they say "We are a SECRET group formed by the government to stop the remaining evil robots!" ....secret?...How did the government keep that secret when they tear up the city on a daily basis?! And the rest of the movie we get racist robots, John tuttro in a thong, a guest appearance by a terminator, dogs fucking each other, and fucking daggling balls on a robot. FOR NO REASON!!!

It isn't perfect, but then again no movie is, even The Dark Knight had a few problems.

so...what? Is that suppose to change my opinion because you said The Dark Knight had a few probelms? I'm just saying...

2.The Action Scenes and Special Effects

I'll give the movie this: the effects are Oscar-worthy incredible but the action scenes are too much. You say people wanted more actions scenes and your right that's what people got. But their's TOO FUCKING MANY! 99% of the movie was just action scenes and they just get boring after awhile. Not only is there too many action scenes, they're also not directed well. These robots aren't really fighting, there just baging into each other like trash cans. The final fight scene is just a big rip-off.

3.Character Development

Like I said, any movie needs character development. This movie really lacks it. The whole love probelms between Shia and Megan was just bullshit and didn't even go anywhere. and you say there more robots in this movie....WRONG!!! There are barely any autobot in this movie. The only robots you spend with in the movie is Bumblebee, who still can't talk, and the most insulting characters in the movie.

And you wonder why I don't like this movie.

4.Comparing this to the cartoon

Ohhhh don't even dare try to compare this ot the cartoon! This is nothing like the cartoon. Why? Cause they cartoon was fun and actally made sense. And yes, the cartoon, at times, was deep. Aparently you didn't even watch the cartoon or didn't watch enough of it. The cartoon,while had action,had soe depth to it. Even the cartoon movie.

Look, I can be entertianed by mindless action in a movie but if that's all your going for then the movie fails completely. It's the reason most of Micheal Bay's films aren't good. Just because it's an action movie doesn't mean it shouldn't have some depth.b

sure the film has alot of problems, but that doesn't make it bad

Uh, you ARE aware that if a movie has a lot of problems it IS bad, right? That's the problem with it in general. A lot of problems that become insulting to you as a viewer because a highly anticipated summer movie SHOULD NOT have THAT many problems with it to begin with.

It was lazy film-making that should have been halted by the STUDIO until they could get someone on board to fix the problems.

thats pretty much what i'm saying
who goes to see a movie starring shia lebouf, megan fox and
giant transforming machines and expects to see a great film
and by great i mean more than just action, cleavage and cleavage in action
i saw it twice and still like it

Well gee Reekzilla, who goes to a BATMAN movie to see drama? Who goes to a Harry Potter movie to see young kids playing a game? Who goes to an Ironman movie to see someone drinking? Who goes to a Star Wars movie just to see them floating in space?

A highly anticipated (Event) movie SHOULD have something that makes it at least ENJOYABLE other than simply big tits and loud noises. If that's ALL you want from your "entertainment" the just watch the playboy channel and stay at home.
