Sequels you like more than the original but are considered worst by most?

Day Watch is always being called a disappointment but it's definitly better than Night Watch in every way. It's less confusing, has better special effects and more character development. Although most of those problems I mentioned could be because of Fox editing about 10 minutes from the film and people might not like Day Watch because it didn't have the cool subs like the first film.

I'm probably the only person in the world that liked Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was better than the original....

Not that it's considered worst, but The Godfather Part 2. They are both the two best movies ever, in my opinion. But I prefer the second one by a hair.
