The only reason scrubs is going downhill is, because it has been on for so long. There is only so much you can do with a show like this before ideas get too old. I still enjoy the show and will watch season 9..
Although you could see in the last season the show pushing (almost to an annoying level) the interns on us. I think Zac Braff was actually not in two episodes and it centered around the interns, and those were some of the worst episode of the season, IMO
While it's apparant that this is upsetting some of you, it's important to also realize that 107 people work on this show and them having a job for another year in this current economy is great. And besides, I doubt it will turn out like Spin City as Bill Lawrence is staying on for at least this next seaon.
What's the fucking point. The show already went on too long but ended perfectly. They want to focus on the interns which is total bullshit. The show doesn't even get good ratings.
While I'm not terribly excited about this, I do think it's cool that Bill Lawrence wants to help people stay employed if the opportunity is there. (He's said that in several interviews) Also, Zack Braff & Sarah (however you spell her fucking name) Have signed on to do about 6 episodes too, so we'll see if its any good.
I'll give it a shot but i can't see this ending very well. The only reason i watch the show is for Turk and JD so if JD is gone i'll have no reason to watch.
Someone needs to sit Brett Favre and the people who green lit the new season of Scrubs down and explain to them that it's over and they have to move on with their lives
