Scottish Devolution

I am Scottish but know very little about the impact devolution would have on Scotland and England, if u could post your views on the subject that would be great.

(for those who don't know "devolution" is the term being used to describe Scotland leaving the Union with England)

Permalink Reply by jarlabrelk on November 13, 2009 at 4:41pm: While i implicitly support an autonomus Scottish government i can't help but think that the oil reserves that separatists are banking on to fund an independent scotland would be misapropriatted and squandered; there is a danger however that independence could get bogged down as the're nuclear submarine bases strategically placed there, as well delegating whose responsibilty the pollution that comes from Sellafeild actually is.
