Sad news in the land of Dr Who

I just read that Elisabeth Sladen, known to all whovians as Sarah Jane Smith has passed away after battling cancer. I have never seen any of her earlier work on the original series, but she was always one of my favorite recurring guest companions. She will be sadly missed

I had no idea she was ill, she looked great in her last series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

 

Quite possibly the best of all the companions, I will miss her. RIP Elisabeth Sladen.
