Lionsgate/Summit have officially released that Ryan Reynold will play the cult classic character Conner MacCleod in there future release of The Highlander: (insert secondary title) here are some questions that we need to ask -who the fuck thought/put forward this idea, I mean specifically so we can decapitate the son of bitch while screaming "there should only of ever been one!"? secondly what happened Ryan you where doing so well did you seriously piss off your agent somehow? Thirdly how closely will this Conner follow the Christopher Lambert portrayal should we expect Mr Reynolds to do a Frenchmen trying to do a Scottish accent and then modernising it to sound Scottish-American I just don't think he has the range do you? who will be the villain? who will play ramirez? (there had better be a fuckin' ramirez) will hollywood ever get tired of the remake bullshit?
