I really hope the don't release one with the current story, Which I think goes nowhere with the wtory of RE. I totally Agree w/ Xapple, they need to stay true to the series and start back from the mansion, not use some other character that have absolutly nothing to do with the series.
I think they could make the Original RE better than a new action flick with Jojovich hands down.

I wish they would reboot the franchise so that it follows the source material a little more closely. The games are really scary in that they are about a group of ORDINARY people cut off from the outside world, trapped in a hopeless situation where they are going up against a swarm of monsters and they don't have enough supplies or bullets to stay alive. The first movie kind of had that feel to it, but in the sequels they threw out those feelings of hopelessness and suspense by turning Milla Jovovich's character into a superhero.

Yeah, the Resident Evil movies really need a reboot. I couldn't stand the first film!
