Ok, you all saw this coming Resident evil 6 date has been moved, it is no longer november, it is now October 2, 2012. The Two Mystrey Charcters have also been revealed as Jake Muller, Albert Weskers Son and Sherry Birken, the loveable little girl from RE2. As well the zombie virus in this game is called the C-virus and the main enemy seems to be some women in a red scarf. You can talk about it below the trailer.

So, game confirmed for not having any of the horror elements they hinted at in the previous trailer and going full retard with the action movie stuff?

Also, Sherry Birkin becoming a secret agent is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard and completely ruined the "Wesker still has plans for her" angle that they set up. Wesker having a secret son who also just happens to have super powers is pretty dumb too.

Yeah, I really wish they'd get back to those logical and sensible storylines that made Resident Evil famous in the first place.

Perhaps I should have went with: "Stupid, even by Resident Evil standards."

One of RE4's main villains was a three foot tall prematurely aging man dressed like Napoleon.

One of RE:Code Veronica's villains was a cross dressing British stereotype.

RE5 claimed not to be racist for including only black zombies, then fucked it up with this:

Including Wesker's son is not stupid for Resident Evil standards.

Let's not forget a few weeks ago, they released this:

Yep, Wesker Jr. is nowhere near as stupid as Resident Evil has gotten.

Midgets/dwarves are not really uncommon, so to say one got infected by a parasite isn't TOO stupid. Silly, yes, but not really stupid.

Alfred is awesome, and his crossdressing isn't a random fetishistic thing, it's a result of severe psychological trauma. They build it up/explain it over the course of the game, and makes sense in context.

I'll give you that the stereotypes in RE5 are stupid, especially from a marketing standpoint, but at least they don't shit all over the established cannon and create what I'm sure will be tons of new plot holes.

RE:ORC was created by a 3rd party and is non-canon. Yeah it's pretty bad, but I don't think the main Resident Evil franchise/Creative team is at fault for this.

They shouldn't have had African tribesmen in RE5?

No ones seems to give a shit about Asians being racist.

The only thing that i dontunderstand is how does wesker have a kid who looks like he is in his 20's

he has special blood that made him grow faster DUH! ( at least thats how i think they will explain it)

i wonder if Sherry Birken is a master of unlocking
