Resident Evil 5 vs Gears of War 2

Normally I see comparisons in the two games that I'd be asked to say "which do you prefer?" say for example GTA 4 vs Saints Row 2. Resident evil 5 vs Gears of War 2 seems like an odd comparison. Might as well say Burger Time vs Portal or California Dreams vs Wii Fit! Anyway to answer the question.. Gears of War 2 I thought Resident Evil 5 for all those years Capcom spent developing that game it came out as a remake of resident evil 4 was a mighty blow.

Gears of War 2.
Why? Well, in Gears of War, you see a hulking monster appear, large weapon in hand.
You decide to do something that after 10 years, Resident Evil is still having trouble wrapping it's head around:




You fire your gun while moving.






That's fuckin' innovation, right there.

I can't decide! Two badly written games with one-dimensional main characters that utilize gore and violence to compensate for a decent plot line.

Gears of war 2
You get more moblity. the movement in RE5 is a little stiff.
