Simply brilliant. Benedict Cumberbatch is an awesome Sherlock Holmes. Can't wait for Series 3.

If the final season lives up to my expectations, this might join my top 3 which are The Sopranos, The Wire, and Rome.
This show is just full of gloriously satisfying moments.

R.I.P Andy Whitfield
Permalink Reply by Angel_A on May 1, 2012 at 10:20am Liam's performance got better and better with each episode imo, he's really grown on me. I'd give the whole season a full price as well.

It's kinda turned into Glee for me. In a way that for the past few episodes I've been watching not because it's good but because I hope it can get good. It's such a great premise but there's so much going against it: cheesy dialogue that feels like it was ripped straight from a teenage girl's tumblr, constant narrative cockteasing and one of the most poorly constructed villains in memory (fucking Regina).
This episode was a reminder of all of that although the last few moments not only had a nice surprise but showed promise that maybe the show might get better or at the very least less aggravating.
...I mean Walking Dead was able to crawl out of its hole.
I also watched the first season of Mad Men which was pretty darn incredible. I don't know why it took me so long to get into.
Permalink Reply by steven cowie on April 2, 2012 at 6:50am Well, having just watched the 1st episode Once Upon A Time (purely because of Robert Carlyle) i'm intrigued at how it'l all hang together, though the pedigree doesn't inspire me (will it end in heaven?? haha) and since Being Human finished, there's fuck all on Sunday, so for the time being, i'l stick with it.
Permalink Reply by NerdyHeartbeat on April 3, 2012 at 12:14am It's not the worst show on the planet. But there are times where I really don't believe this is "from the writers of Lost".
