Permalink Reply by Jimmy Bananers on May 31, 2012 at 10:38am Yeah Idris Elba is a great actor and it's unfortunate how he goes out as it seems unnecessary to me. Thanks for the quick review of it though. I've heard scott had to cut 20 minutes of the film so perhaps the dvd directors cut will be better? Truth be told if every reviewer said it was horrible I would still go and see it because i've been anticipating it so much.
Oh and your English is fine. :P

That being said, I really like this movie and I totally recommend that you at least watch it once. The action scenes are very clean in feel and powerful in its intensities, especially the last shoot out which just embellishes all out rage. The movies pretty good, it's just forgettable in my part.
FMJ- 4/5
Amazing film with great performances all around! I was at the edge of my seat and jinglin my feet to the music. Very melancholic and (once again) intense!.....but then....it just...ends... I guess that's it, but ya.

It's a quiet little film with an insidious background behind it. Performances were great, everything felt dirty as sh*t, and it was beautifully shot. The mood felt unnerving and was a little bit shocking, despite what I've watched before this was worse. And it gets really intriguing! Then.....it just ends.... holy crap: WTF happened to the other third of the movie!? It just felt like the first two acts! C'mon man!
Super 8- 3/5
Going back to watching this movie, I really appreciated the cool ideas they had with this film. Kids are definitely the stars here, as they boast a good amount of dialogue that felt natural- comfortable if you will. Like an awesome nostalgic indie film that revolved around the love of movies.....then it took a bunch of cliches and it just felt....okay. I liked it, but the cynical won't.
