I keep forgetting to post here once I've seen a movie I feel the need to rate, so I've got a few here.

Since I saw Brazil, I've been on a Gilliamarathon the past few weeks. So here's what I've seen so far:

9/10

I actually remember seeing this movie long ago as a tyke, and now I wish I saw it more often. A clever little adventure film I think I'll show my kids someday, so they won't miss out on the fun like I did.

9/10

Doesn't have Gilliam's usual visual flair, but it's still pretty damn good. My rating will probably bump up to a 10 the next time I see it.

4/10

-sigh-..... this will most likely be my least favorite by Gilliam. Anyone who really loves this film and enjoys watching it, PLEASE explain the point to this one, if there IS a point. It'd be greatly appreciated.

And now for something not Gilliam-related:

9/10

All I can say is that's gorgeous, visually and story-wise. Definitely going to go on a Miyazaki-thon after I'm done with my Gilliamarathon.
District 9: In Spill terms I'd give it Full Price. Out of 10, I'm still thinking about. Maybe an 8, could be more. I'll need to see it again. Great film.
Batman: MAsk of the Phantasm 8/10

Before the Devil knows your dead 10/10

District 9: 9.75/10

I just saw this last night (I know I'm late, be quiet), and god damn was it brilliant. The only reason this does not get a perfect 10/10 is because of a few plot holes that I believe could have been rectified with minimal overall changes to the plot and characters.

MAD MAX: B+

10/10

Still my favorite foreign film of all time. Anyone with a strong stomach who's looking for a revenge film with brains will love this.
The Glenn Miller Story - 7.3/10

The Boat That Rocked - 8.5/10
Knowing: 4/10 (actually saw it before District 9 but forgot to comment)
HORSEMAN

3 out 5
Sunshine - 8.5/10
