Not sure if anybody's started a thread like this before (don't you just hate it when people say that?) but it seems to me movie trailers are an increasingly ignored cultural medium, the best of them being minor artistic masterpieces. So, cutting the bullshit, post any trailer you like, for whatever reason - cos it's funny, clever, wierd... whatever.

I'll start the ball rolling.

Woosp had a 'rate the trailer above you' thread a while back but all was lost when he left so as far as I know there isn't/hasn't been another since

He has pondered zombifying that dead thread but it seems now he doesn't have to...

Everyone should see this...

Great movie. I even think that it's better than The Rocky horro picture show.

I don't know if this is a fan-made trailer or an actual one (it's the only one on youtube) but this movie cracked me up when I saw it on the USA Network in the 80s or 90s.  T&A galore but horrible in every other aspect.  Enjoy one of my guilty pleasures. Phoenix The Warrior

I own this.

Same here.  On DVD it's something like She Wolves of the Wasteland (or something like that).  What I love about seeing the unedited version on DVD is that there is a whole sequence with girls dancing under a waterfall topless that looks so out of joint with the scenes before and after it. After I taped the censored version of this from television, my brother and I replaced 80 percent of the soundtrack using the old VCR's audio dub feature -- pretty much MST3K before there was a MST3K.  It started off with us putting the swears back and then progressing to just rip the movie apart, so it's hard to watch the movie now without hearing those stupid sound effects and lines we edited in.  I met Kathleen Kinmont at a Chiller Theater convention about ten years ago and she signed a photo for my brother and wrote "Neon!" above it.  She was hotter in person, even without wearing the loincloth bikini. But you have to love a movie where two of the main characters are crucified on twigs.

Then there's this gem, with three things in common with Phoenix the Warrior, plus baby blue headbands and silver onesies.

Megaforce is awesome!

Speakin of guilty pleasures, here's one of my all time favourites.

Actually a lot crazier and funnier than this trailer makes it look, has some of my favourite bad dialogue moments ever, and a pre-Knight Rider David Hasselhoff - worth checking out.

I just can't believe Christopher Plummer was in this.  I have a soft spot for kitchy Sci-fi.  This, Zardoz, Logan's Run, Saturn 3...I love them all no matter how bad they are.  One of my favorites is Space Mutiny, but only after MST3K got through with it.

And this.

Of all the films watched by the IFC on this shameless plug, I mean, movie list, Starcrash is probably my favorite.

My favorite thing about it is the talent involved. David Plummer, Marjoe Gortner.
Not just in front of the screen, either. John Barry wrote the score for this piece of shit... John Barry... the guy who won eight Oscars...
And did I mention Joe Spinell? Willi fuckin' Cicci's in this!

I liked this movie so much I wrote a song about one of the characters in it...
