until you figured out that they didn't restore service before putting up that message but put it up as they're STARTING to restore service

As Kaz said they're doing extra much to restore the system and protect it.

also the attack was brought on by a few rouge elements that if anyone finds out who they are they're going to have alot of angry people from Sony and their fanbase at their door.
